Gay.

hahaha, i think so, some of them, especially the third guy from left, back row. they should follow the appearance of the 3 cadets from right. that's how they should look in photo ops, looking tough! :armycool:

Pendejo - May 24, 2005 06:48 AM (GMT)
Regimental band uniform or Los Musikeros de Militar. Still gay.

commando - May 24, 2005 07:59 AM (GMT)
They look very Filipino. I'm proud of them! :aberet:

fieldmouse - May 24, 2005 10:14 AM (GMT)
looks fine to me

Pendejo - May 24, 2005 10:25 AM (GMT)
Not to 99.9% of PMA alumni and a vast majority of respondents in a poll conducted online.

That proposed uniform is not even Filipino. It is Spanish in origin and also copied from somewhere. Even West Point copied it's uniforms from somewhere. That uniform will never fly. If we want authentic Filipino uniforms perhaps the warrior garb of the Cordillera Tribes may be more appropriate.

Classic example of fixing something that ain't broke. Classic example of erasing and replacing a known historical brand image.

The current uniform still looks a lot better. :dunno:

But I also want to see more samples of new uniforms with an authentic Filipino touch.

Maybe we should see what we can copy from our tribal folks in the Cordilleras and Mindanao....., just like what Pendejo said.

BTW, the new uniform doesnt look that bad at all. It only needs something to make it more appealing. Probably we can find something from what our tribal warriors wear during their times.

Tribal warriors? Let 'em wear this:

Yung katulad ng kay Lapu-lapu with sword and shield. Para kung matangal yung g-string may pang-takip.

Thats it!

I'm not a full killjoy. Keep both uniforms. Use the Rayadillo for summer to replace the old Summer White uniform. How's that for a Solomonic decision.

Wait...I like the Summer Whites better than the Rayadillo.

commando - May 24, 2005 12:42 PM (GMT)
A brilliant idea, Pendejo! Although I think that the cadets are better-looking in the new ones. :aberet:

flipzi - May 24, 2005 12:42 PM (GMT)
Anu na yan?

Nauwi sa hubuan at peryahan! :funnypost:

Maraming magagalit na kadete nyan. Bawas pogi points talaga daw! :armyLol:

commando - May 24, 2005 12:55 PM (GMT)
That's very cheap! :bounce:

Pendejo - May 24, 2005 01:06 PM (GMT)
I suppose female cadets would also wear the Cordillera equivalent. Topless isn't it?

commando - May 24, 2005 01:08 PM (GMT)
:wow: Very attractive, if I do say so myself!

Just don't know if you could drool like that to your upperclassmen if you do join the PMA.

commando - May 24, 2005 01:27 PM (GMT)
Do you mean the female upperclassmen?

ang alam ko sa summer white for silent drill lang... kailan ba last na ginamit ng PMA ang summer white?

Pendejo - May 25, 2005 02:56 PM (GMT)
I really do not know the last time Summer Whites were used. Definitely not my time. I think they were in vogue in the late 60s and early 70s.

SIRIKITTONG - May 31, 2005 09:44 PM (GMT)
I do not like these current designs; the original one was better.
Stick to the original.

saver111 - June 2, 2005 10:28 AM (GMT)
I remember we had a Thai cadet at PMA who graduated with top honors. I believe he's a general now?

Pendejo - June 2, 2005 11:11 AM (GMT)
Gen Thaval N. Sawangpunka '60
Gen Sittiporn Patarasen '74
Gen Tumrongsak Deemongkol '76
Gen Thawip Poonsiri Netniyom '81 - Graduated Number 1 in his class

Yes, most of our generals and officers have graduated from the PMA. The PMA has great respect from ASEAN militaries; an excellent academy and is one of the best in Asia.
