cindy - May 28, 2005 06:06 AM (GMT)
I like gays as my hairderesser and manicurists, but not as soldiers.

commando - May 30, 2005 01:18 PM (GMT)

I think there are few out there in the AFP and PNP, they just maintain a low profile by not advertising themselves.

Some of them are "Double Blades".

Anybody familiar with the late Gen. Hans Menzie ? He was also a successful businessman, but died a loner because he had no family of his own at all.

If the third sex already existed in the military during those days, how much more now that the trend is getting vulgar and these weirdos are already claiming a space in the society.

MSantor - October 9, 2005 02:19 AM (GMT)
I know in the US they have the "Don't ask, don't tell" Policy, but in Canada, things have gotten out of hand.

http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...edding0614.html

If any of you ever immigrate to Canada and join Le 'Armee De Terre du Canada, be wary of getting into an RCA(Royal Canadian Army) M113 APC and getting gang-raped.

Gays? Especially in the military? Never... :fire:

Milliardo - November 19, 2005 11:12 PM (GMT)
As long as they're discreet and honest, no problem. I have some friends who are gay, and I don't treat them any differently.

Mangangalakal - December 6, 2005 01:07 AM (GMT)
We need gays but only in the Philippine Army not PMA. Who is gonna seduce those gay NPAs and vaccumm their secrets. Ever heard of "gay wedding in NPA?".

Marschall - February 11, 2006 09:57 PM (GMT)
If hetero/gay/lesbian--I couldn't care less--it's their military abilities that count not their sexual orientation. Have respect for them too--Gays and lesbians are people-God's subjects-just like us!!!

dapat magtago na sila . . . .

el_commandante - April 16, 2006 08:22 AM (GMT)
Lawrence of Arabia and Alexander the great were gays, and so is my neighbor SGT: Jose Luis Reyes

Marschall - April 16, 2006 10:16 AM (GMT)
:agree: Great military leaders were gays. So why work against them? We should judge by efforts and not by race, religion, ethnicity or sexual preference.

Gays in the US Army and Canadian Army can keep secrets. Besides they can be of good use. Vaccum the secrets of NPA gays. Straight guys in the CIA and FBI like Aldrich Ames and Robert Hansen cannot keep their mouths shut , compromised their own kind and told everything to the Cold War enemy. Sila ang mga may dalawang bunganga!! Besides it is not the gender that is important. The fact that gays and women have fingers that can pull the trigger, I say they can be as useful as straights.

And I know of one Filipino ISAPF 4 -8 percent gay bisexual civilian who was always
ridiculed and humiliated by his NPA employer. The NPA has a common-law wife.

We may allow gays to enter the service but they MUST NOT BE ASSIGNED TO RECRUITMENT, TRAINING AND COMBAT DUTIES OR ANY TASK THAT WILL GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO ABUSE THEIR AUTHORITY.

WE'VE SEEN THIS CASE HAPPENED ALREADY. Remember the homosexual Army Major who promised those hapless men entry to the Army in exchange for sexual favors?

Gusto ko nga is TOTALLY WALANG GAYS SA AFP.

The presence of a single gay in a group of straight men will definitely pose a source of discomfort to the rest. They wont be able to relax while they bathe or sleep because they fear that this gay has something in his mind. Even mere taking off your shirt will make you think that a "guy" is gazing at you or watching you.

The worst scenario is when a homosexual becomes an officer or when he gets the opportunity to threaten his subordinates to give in to his disgusting desires or face the consequence of not giving in.

Yung gay na nakabaril nf NPA eh nagkataon lng yun. Kung bata nga nakakapatay ng matanda eh.

epigone - May 2, 2006 12:13 AM (GMT)
There is this childhood friend gay of mine. He's attracted to me. So one time we were in bed he made advances and asked for sexual favours. So I said, "If you can straighten it, then you can. He kept on massaging, squeezing to no avail. Actually, it recoiled. So the moral of the story is: If we are not going to hire gays in the military, then, straight guys, better gear up. For you will be tasked to vaccumm her/his secrets. KGB ravens (sexpionage) are famous for those. It worked on a lot of gay government German officials. We should excel on sexpionage too. Especially, those ISAPFs itching for a piece of the action.

The AFP is presumed to be an equal opportunity employer. So, we have no choice except to accept them to be enlisted. However, when it comes to detail and assignment, I would prefer them to be in the frontline because I believe that when the enemy's bullet keep on whistling pass their ears, it will help a little bit for them to become straight.

They should not be in a comfortable assignment or environment otherwise it will just give them the opportunity to commit things they are desperately wanting to satiate their deviant sexual behavior.

epigone - May 2, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)
Ang tinik ninyong magargumento, Sir PNP! Bilib na ako. I have been getting messages in my email from a lot of members here praising me for my talent. I say, "All of you here in this forum are a hundred times smarter and more intelligent than me. You're just reading the wrong books. But are you to blame for these? NO! It's the commie librarians of UP and Aklatang Bayan (whatever it maybe called). They remove books espousing rule of law, democracy or they are books (Mona Charen's Useful Idiots and Ann Coulters "How to talk to a liberal if you must") with reasonable arguments. For people with high IQs. Then they feed visitors of libraries with leftist literature like the ARts and Sciences library at UP whose dean is member of Partido Komunista ng Pilipinas.

:exactly: That's we've been emphasizing, Sir, di po ba?. Sana maunawaan yan ng AFP na porke dapat may equal opportunity eh papayagan na lang ng basta-basta.

Actually, this is not a case of equall opportunity anymore because the gays will have greater opportunity for their selfish goals ....

... while the rest will LOSE THEIR OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN PEACE, or without worrying if the person grabbing their pistol is a woman or not.

Fmr TOPP Awardee 82'PNP - May 9, 2006 08:31 AM (GMT)
My advocacy is not for weirdos to join or enlisted in the Police or AFP, but, time has changed in a way that the freedom of sexual orientation has been a new trend that it is universally accepted in conjunction with the doctrine and principles of human rights.

To bar or restrict gays from being employed in government establishments or entities particularly the Police and the AFP, is a total disregard of human rights where race, religion, gender and sexual orientation is the primary basis for discrimination in denying job opportunities.

In my view, as long as they are not flagrantly advertising themselves, and that they can perform the suppose duties the same way as straight men and women do, then I can see no problems in it at all.

However, there are things to be considered and I humbly suggest and emphasize that known personalities should be strictly supervised by way of administrative discretion to assign or post them in the appropriate position and environment where their private activities can be easily monitored.

Fundamental rights cannot be curtailed and violated as a means to subdue presumed and speculated wrongdoings. It is the due process of the law that will take over when unlawful acts were or about to be committed or whenever the situation warrants.

Here is one Filipino example-

The late Brig. Gen. Hanz Menzi of the Philippine Air Force.

He died a loner and left a will for Bongbong Marcos to inherit his vast real and business properties.

Lesbians (tomboy) in the AFP and PNP are numerous, why not gays?

BARBER 6 - September 20, 2006 06:28 PM (GMT)
There is one in an Infantry Battalion who is open about his/her kasarian...Kung tapang lang ang paguusapan nungunguna siya. P10 bawat paa...

"Ang magnanakawa galit sa kapwa magnanakaw!"

"Ang bading..." - Joke Lang! hehehehe :nono:

I think, we often stereotype the gays dun sa mga nakikita nating sa mga parlor na nakabihis babae. Meron din namang mga gays who act like men and it would be hard to distinguish them from real men. I think it would be ok as long as they would not flaunt their sexual orientation, like what Maj. Ferdinand Ramos did, so disgusting.

el_commandante - September 22, 2006 07:57 AM (GMT)
Bakit nga ba ang daming bading na gusto pumasok sa mga all male institution, like PMA, PMMA ( before it was all male) at seminaryo? :devilwink:

desertranger - September 28, 2006 11:45 PM (GMT)
My thought is that Gays could have a place in the military. They are most professional when given tasks or responsibilities and have the ability to follow up and use Time Management from those that I have had contact with. I am not gay but have observed that in the Philippines there are so many gays who are visible and not shunted. They are widely accepted hence they project themselves more visibily
