Title: Army satire
mondo bizzaro - May 29, 2005 05:18 AM (GMT)
ColdDeadFish - May 29, 2005 08:38 AM (GMT)
Man honestly you are doing this in bad taste, satire is suppose to be wrought upon who made their predicament this way not the victims. Its salt to their wounds. You should honor them and not put them into a damned state. Those faces are actual people with real daily issues that includes fighting for your way of life.
Same thing with the Marines satire post.
I dunno what you want to acheive but where I came from, using other people's misery for personal gain or popularity (notoriety) is a punishable offense (a harsh punishment I would say).
Think twice, you will be in the hit list of a lot of people here including mine.
Friendly advice lang pre.

Explain what? AFP brass should see these and be insulted. Beside's it is pretty funny for those soldiers walking around the jungles while their generals go to the casino.
The soldiers should just give up. Their's no point.
Whatever you say, that stuff up their is true. Just get way past your patriotic feelings and come over to the dark side.

Lo siento amigo. Those words don't and won't ever get to me. You see, even if those soldiers do sacrifice as much, half of them don't.
As your officers go, so does your soldiers. If the mom is a b!tch the daughter will be one.
You have rampant corruption in the AFP. With that I see, every single person who wears that uniform no matter how tattered is corrupt. Because even if they aren't, they have the moral & ethical responsibility to maintain an honest organization. By not doing so they are all suspect to me.
What can a regular private do in this matter? Nothing. Give up. Don't fight. Don't be an idiot to want to die for a country that does not want to give you the tools you need for the job.
Why fight for a country that easily gives back territories gained from the rebels by blood as a condition for peace. Why die for Generals who are corrupt.
Soldiery in this country is not given it's due because of abuse and corruption. It is as most people see a job for high school graduates. Those who cannot hack it in the real world. It is no more than being a glorified security guard.
Let the soldiers give up and go home. Let's see what the government & generals can do.
But it is not in their nature to give up because they were brainwashed in the bootcamps. So all they can do is coup-de-etat. Even with that option they couldn't get it right. Dumb as can be. Magdalo. Bunch of wussies.

--->Truth hurts.<----
When Greece dictionary defined a Filipina-Filipeneza-, as ""domestic worker from the Philippines or a person who performs non-essential auxiliary tasks"." Filipinos were clamoring and government went as far as filing a diplomatic protest against Greece. Now is it true about what Greek dictionary said? Yes and No, but what can you do about it? Now if Filipinos dont like what they see in their military why not just hire mercenaries?
S4it happens. :drunk:

Did you say you are from Mindanao? So the AFP did a lousy job in defending and protecting our soveriegnty? Yes there were coups and corruption, massive human rights abuse etc...why persecute the many with the sins of the few?It is not the grunts fault for the poor equipments they posess, yeah blame the officials and politicians that is all we are good at the blame game and making fun of other people's misery.
Sad to think where to put you in your place. are you just here to aggrevate or to agitate. It seems you are showing your gratitude to the troops who help defend your country from islamists and communists by being a smart aleck and a point of view full of sarcasm. If they are as sorry asses and as lousy as you think then they should have given up fighting against the secessionists and the communists years ago.
For me despite their shortcomings and deficiencies they are still the best and infact better than most armies of the world, Why? cause they still kick ass with obsolete equipments and with corrupt politicians and officers..dont you think? :devilwink:
mondo bizzaro - May 30, 2005 04:15 AM (GMT)
Does it matter where I come from?
Did the AFP do a lousy job defending.........? Yup. They sucked big time. All they did was stem the tide. Not stop the wave. If they'd done a better job these pntan d'mierde Moro(n)s would not have any inclination of fighting anymore.
Until now the AFP's largets obstacle in fighting the insurgents aside from poor equipment and political will it the so called unknown terrain. OMFG, they've only been walking every inch of Mindanao for the past 35 years fighting all forms of rebellion. Don't tell me the mountains of Bukidnon move from time to time. Can they give me a better excuse than this? Like the enemy numbers was overwhelming. :armyLol:
What Sgt. Kumol? You have no map?
No sir!
What did you do to your map?
Toilet paper sir!
aggravate, aggitate, sarcasm, aggregate... big words for a smart aleck like me.
AFP can only kick ass if the enemy has his hands tied behind his back or if they catch you in a cul de sac and pump 2 million bullets to your body.
Peace out igsu-on.

Traumatic experiences still haunts?
Try to move on man and don't give those shits to these soldiers that can still handle it. They are in that lousy state and not of their doing but they're the thin line that still holding on. Give up? Then the more you can't go home.
The least you could give is an appreciation and a thank you! It's those in the General Staff like Gen Garcia whom you should get their attention. That is if you can still get theirs? Silaw na nga pala sa mga estrella nila ang mga yon.

I like you filipzi. You're one :specool: cat.
As for being a commie, I love being a full blown capitalist slave.
Try sending me pictures of generals so I can make fun of them too. Sayang talent ko.
But I still maintain my POV. Whether it insults any sides I don't care. It is still a free country. Or else you folks can recommend banning me from the site.
What I'm doing is no worse than Ocampo buying medical supplies for the NPA with his allotment of pork barrel funds.
At least I'm not killing soldiers unlike the negligence of government and the inadequacy of military planners and general staff. (like I could do better)
PS. You should see my drawing of a philippine navy ship in one topic at that section.

Just one request, bro.
Try not to add further insult to the soldiers in the frontlines.
Kawawa naman sila.
Okay?
You know what?
Some Army guys, and the CAFGUs in the south would prefer wearing rubber shoes because it is lighter and they can move around a lot easier. They can even walk more silently with these shoes.
This is one of the things that makes them good in catching up with the rebels who easily slips through thick jungles in the south.

The old folk that you saw in the photo could be an MNLF integree. The matter here is more of a political decision than a typical military procedure.
Just look at him. He's about 60 or in his late 50s. Typical soldiers start serving at 18 to 24. After 20 years they retire. They'll be about 40 to 45 by then.
They are there not mainly to fight the rebels but help lessen those the military will fight.
Typical soldiers that old would prefer retiring than punish themselves with a tiring job that is only good for the younger guys.
But you know what ?
He maybe old and look stupid to you... but as i see him, he's more respectable than today's breed of neat-looking politicians and the generals.
This old fellow has served his fellowmen well.
HE HAS ALREADY EARNED HIS RIGHTS IN HEAVEN.

From an unemotional POV, Mondo is actually doing the grunts in the field some service in his abrasive manner of presenting the current realities of the AFP.
I hope that in some way or another, Mondo's satire will tug at the heartstrings of the erring senior officers and make them mend their ways, that is if their hearts have not yet turned stonecold.
I like the pic of the old soldier, he might not be in his parade-best but he's got that thousand-mile stare. The stare of soldier who has been through it all and survived. Only a few thousand fighting men can execute the thousand mile stare perfectly.

Semantics lang pala ito, kung may galit ka sa AFP don't sugarcoat it as satire, satire does constitute such intent. Show your ultimate motive don't hide behind the semantics.
Tough luck if Mindanao was a bad experience for you, grow up and get past it. We all have bad experiences but its not an excuse in this forum. You probably mistake this forum as a support group or a form of group therapy. You mistake us for something else.
Else, show your intent and take sides. Posing will not work!

...and better than you, Mondo, sitting infront of your computer most of the time degrading these fighting men who have nothing to give but their lives for your birthplace (Mindanao) and its people.
Be objective.
Go after those people whom you claim to be corrupt and inept in their jobs but spare the soldiers. Stop using the faces (and misery) of these soldiers in your twisted logic of satire (kuno). Your line of thinking of doing a great service to these soldiers through this is the exact opposite The truth is you are no better than those people whom you perceive to be exploiting these soldiers. Read what you wrote earlier, mondo:
"Soldiery in this country is not given it's due because of abuse and corruption. It is as most people see a job for high school graduates. Those who cannot hack it in the real world. It is no more than being a glorified security guard."
