nice try Mondo!

the only pic of the M24 in Korea i saw showed the PHILIPPINES stencil at the rear bin- and in small military fonts; no other visible markings but having the US star seemed plausible considering they were under UN control via the US. :armyeek:

Sir, total nandiyan ka na rin. May maitutulong ka ba duon sa Bren Gun carrier na ginagawa ko.

Meron na akong watercooled na LMG at BAR. Ginamit kaya nila yung radio?

Gagwing kong kulay ay OD dahil Canadian vehicle nga iyon. Wala bang markings na ginamit?

Paano kaya yung mounting ng LMG duon?

There are no pics of the Bren Gun Carrier in PA service, AFAIK.

The 1:1 model at the GHQ Museum was built on data and artistic license by PROF MEL SILVESTRE, of IPMS Philippines Bert Anido Chapter.

This i can suggest: research on the schemes of Bren Gun carriers in Canada as of 1941 - this will be a good example of what the BGC must have looked like when they were for transport to HK until they got stuck here.

The books i have read state that the 2nd Reg Div had most of the BGCs and they mounted BARS, .50 HMGs in improvise ways- how, i dont know too.

AFAIK these vehicles were immediately sent to the front upon impounding from the harbors- hence no markings most likely.

HTH :armyeek:

How did the 10th BCT utilize the Chaffees in Korea? I don't think the light tanks were effective against the massed assaults of the CPVF.
