saver111 - June 22, 2005 05:46 AM (GMT)
OK, Eagle 1 got it. But it's not the portugues/spanish birds. It's the Hellenic AF.
Eagle 1, for job a well done, proceed to PEARL Farm, no no no. I mean the PEARL Center (Flipzi's alias for the Boracay Resort) and take your R & R.
Received another intel photo of planes flying around. Go on a search mission. Check, verify and identify type of aircrafts.

How do you expect to get a 90, with 3 F words you used, 14 guesses for 13 aircrafts and a Kfir in Egypt? :funnypost:
datu - June 22, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
ont he original photo.
1 F-4
2 Mirage most likely 2000
3 F-16
4 F/A-18-hard time without the second pictu
5 F-14
6 AMX
7 F/A-18
8 Mig-21 or F(J)-7-chinese copy of Mig-21
9 Death from above- B-1
10 Alpha Jet
11 Another Mirage, looks like older model V/5-model? perhaps?, not a 2000, different tail section than 2000
12 F-16
13 F/A-18
F/A-18s, F-14 US Navy, Mirage 2000 and Mirage 5 or iii version, in service with Egypt but Mirage2000 could be French, Mig-21/J-7, F-4 and some of F-16 could be Egyptian, Alpha Jets are Egyptian but also could be French, AMX is really suprising, its from the Italians, if this is new, some of the F-16s could be Italians, if not some of the F-16s and B-1 are US.
How'd i do?
saver111 - June 23, 2005 02:40 AM (GMT)
You did OK Sir Datu. This photo was taken in Egypt during Exercise Bright Star 2000 held in 1999. According to the report it was joined by coalition forces from Egypt, U.S., France, UK, Italy and other Middle eastern countries.
Inventory as per report:
1. Egypt - F-16, F-4, Mirage III, 5 and 2000, MIG 15,17, 21, ALpha Jets and L59 Albatross.
2. U.S. - F-16, F-18, AV8, B1 Lancer was identified in the photo. If there were Sea Harriers for sure F-14s are there also from carrier task group.
3. UK - no mention of A/C ID
4. France - no mention of A/C ID
5. Italy - no mention of A/C ID and probably you are right! :thumb:

Tallyho! approaching bandits identified! as S-37 Berkut on the lead, Su-37 Superflanker on the right flank and an Su-27 Flanker on the left...
Request permission to engage..... :fire:
saver111 - July 23, 2005 04:19 AM (GMT)
Roger that Knightshade. However you did not followed the number series in naming those A/C.
You're on an F-15. Your record in combat is spotless; you've never been defeated. You possess good looks, but are not flashy about it. You prefer to let your reputation do the talking. You are fast, agile, and loud, but reaching the end of your stardom.
Hope this not the end. Permission to engage granted.
And may the force be with you! :tomcat:

2 SU27s claims they're chasing the F-15 Eagle out
With the SU37 and another SU27 confirming it.
Lone Eagle says, "He's leading the way" with his 5 brothers way at the back and the new kid on the block, the F22 Raptor.
