Thanks Sir Pendejo.
Bat 21, here's some of it:
11 February 1963
PAF sends the "Limbas" Squadron, led by Lt. Col. Jose Rancudo, to join the UN Peacekeeping Force to the troubled Congo. Together with Swedish and Iranian fighter units and an Ethiopian air transport contingent, the Limbas Squadron would help neutralize rebel activity and end the civil war in the African nation.

Several members of the team readily transferred to the 9th TFS to see action in Africa.
http://www.inq7.net/opi/2003/jul/06/opi_rjfarolan-1.htmIn 1963, in response to a request from the United Nations for a peacekeeping contingent, President Diosdado Macapagal ordered the dispatch of an air squadron to the Congo. The mission was headed by my cousin, Colonel Horacio Farolan while the unit itself was led by Lieutenant Colonel Jose Rancudo.
http://www.iiaf.net/aircraft/jetfighters/F86/f86.htmlBy this time there were two other UN fighter units at Kamina, the Swedish 22nd Squadron with 12 ship SAAB J29s and S29s, and the Philippine 9th Squadron with 6 ship Canadian built F-86Es. All three units were now formed into a UN Fighter Wing, with Swedish Colonel Sven Lampell as its first commander.
