In your photo captioned "Twin Towers", the soldiers looks like are carrying a Scuba gear and a Mortar tube. Not sure though :armyskeptic:

I thought it was a recoilles rifle.

I thought it was a recoilles rifle.

Could be wrong, but the the ball at the end of of the tube looks like the part that makes contact with the base plate of a mortar.
