Title: Unique training aids of the Thai Army

Guys, I found these pics on militaryphotos.net:

As you scroll down the photos, you'll notice a Thai soldier lighting what appears to be a "Thunder" firecracker at the muzzle of a mortar to simulate firing a mortar round.

The photo comes with the caption: "For training that need only sound. (3 Baht each or just only 13 cent) Ha Ha Ha Ha" - posted by an individual who goes by the handle "Skyman".

Verympressive set of pictures if you ask me.

Sorry, haven't figured out how to post pics to this forum yet.

I wonder what happened to our local training aids? Nabasura na rin kaya along with the MREs nang magpalit ng administration?

Hmm... would M60 tanks be applicable with our terrain?

The Thais also have the cadillac-gage Stingray small tank with the 105mm gun. I think that would be suitable for us here. And the 120 mm mortars.

On an old Philippine-American military exercise photo, there was a M60 tank in Mindanao. It was a behemoth compared to the ordinary folks gawking at it.
