Title: Political party

First I'd like to say this is a suggestion and do not intend to harm nor insult anyone as I hope that others do not do the same towards me. I respect and accept other opinions so please,if you are only posting a reply to this in order to insult me or my thought--GET LOST!!!

I have seen a lot of good ideas and really patriotic individuals in this forum and I know that there are more of them in the RP or else where in the world. What I'm up to now is founding a new political party to unite and mobilize this people for a group normally has better chances to be heard than INDIVIDUALS.
I know it will take some time till this work out well but with the patience and determination we could do it.
We should give it a try because this is the best way to gain influence in politics and to some day be able to push through political reforms.
Founding a political party is a chance given to us by our constitution. we all know our country needs reforms and has to get rid of all those corrupt politicians. This (in my opinion) is the best to do it aside from using an external force such as an armed coup which would endanger our political stability. With a party of our own and members committed to their love for the Philippines,we surely will prevail. :patrioticpinoy:

Don't be sad.

It's not time, i guess.

But we are in fact already doing our part now in improving our system, dont you think?

I wouldnt say its not time. There is always room for another party -- considering how hopeless the existing ones are. But I guess we would want to hear what makes you different. What is the party platform, long term goals, etc. Please elaborate.

What would make it different?

I'd say the very core of our intentions which is the sincere will to improve the Philippine's overall situation.
It seems to me that most parties are groups of influential people who know eachother and that you need to have Vitamin C (connection) in order to be able to be someone in such parties: it's not really about how much you care for the nation and how much you do, but whom you know...

Many here have shown themselves to be very patriotic, so why not team-up and at least try?

Sir Marschall, i suggest that we first take note of our party's main political agenda if ever we are to form one. in order to know what our agenda is, we have to study the circumstances that our country, in particular the AFP and the PNP, into nowadays and from there, we can derive what our political agenda is.

of course, if we want to have a party with significant amount of clout, we have to establish our connections as well. :armywink:

it will take some amount of time before we can start a political party. after all, that same amount of time will be worth it if our party will be strong and stable.

Indeed, the first step though is to: gather the willing.
Without that first step, nothing else can be done.
