Same suggestion.
Rather than creating chaos and destroying the economy better take this offer:
http://pdff.sytes.net/index.php?showtopic=3368The U.N. right now are asking for Peacekeepers. Better give them this opportunity also and reflect on what they're doing, seeing places at war with the job of keeping the peace.

the politicians are now out to destroy the PMC. are they afraid that their corrupt and evil ways are soon to be thwarted by the principled military officers?
perhaps we will soon see Ate Glu, Tabako, Erap, Jinggoy, De Venecia, etc. heading to the guillotine! :demon:

MARINE Col Ariel Querubin, who is facing court-martial for allegedly instigating a coup last Feb. 24, said he should even be commended for restraining other restive Marines who had wanted to march to Edsa last February to join the protest rallies.
Querubin, one of the leaders of the bloodiest coup attempt against the Aquino administration in 1989, told military investigators that he convinced the agitated Marine officers not to push through with the planned march.
“I feel that having stood down and convinced other officers not (to) go on with their intention is enough to merit a commendation,” Querubin said.

Coup suspects in hot water over critical statementsBy Joel Guinto

SANGLEY POINT, Cavite City, Philippines --
Military lawyers are studying possible legal action against the 28 officers facing court martial over the alleged botched coup in February 2006 over their recent statements to media that are critical of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff, Navy Chief Vice Admiral Rogelio Calunsag said Monday. At the same time, Calunsag said the detained officers should stop issuing such statements to media. Nine of the 28 detained officers are from the Philippine Marines, which is under the Navy.
"Our legal [staff], the ones handling these cases would look into this, what legal action should be taken on statements they are doing," Calunsag told reporters here, after he commissioned the Navy's first-ever trainer helicopter during the 60th Naval Air Group.
"Ako ay nayayamot lang sa ating bansa [I'm frustrated with our country]. We are on one ship… It's hard to run a ship when some people are punching holes on it," he added.
Asked if the suspected coup plotters should refrain from making critical statements, Calunsag said: "Definitely, and I think our legal people pursuing the case would do something about it."
At a hearing in Tanay town, Rizal province last Friday, the officers dared AFP Chief of Staff General Hermogenes Esperon Jr. to "tell the truth" behind allegations he was involved in cheating operations that propelled President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to a fresh six-year term in 2004.
The week before, their families wore t-shirts, bearing their portrait photos, and the words: "a few good men." They also criticized Esperon for revealing reports of an alleged fresh coup, saying it was all in his head.
Esperon and Calunsag are classmates at the Philippine Military Academy. They graduated in 1974.
The highest-ranked accused, Major General Renato Miranda, is also a classmate or "mistah" of Esperon and Calunsag.full story...
Fmr TOPP Awardee 82'PNP - October 9, 2007 11:40 AM (GMT)
There are no legal impediments for anybody asking somebody to tell the truth in relation to anything worth asking. Nobody was ever imprisoned for asking somebody to tell the truth.
If I were the one asked to tell the truth, black and white, regarding anything at issue against me, and if I was not really involved in it, I will gladly challenge them by also telling them the whole truth and I would voluntarily submit myself to a polygraph (lie detector) test to prove it, rather than creating threats of ludicrous legal action.

Not really - col querubin stood down because he did not have the majority. He and gen miranda were left cold after gen allaga called for votation of senior marine commanders on his legitimacy at comandant (some by cell phone as then col ducusin and sabban 2nd and 3rd brigade) - which he got the votes. he walked out of the meeting and saying that i now have the majority and and will now talk to the media that we are united. could not forget the face of gen miranda and querubin that night - gen allaga demonstrated the will of a marine commandant. everybody followed his exit except of course for a few of col querubins followers. i would say 3% of those present. CSS Brigade and MCTC were the dominant units during the meeting having most of the officers and both commanders gave full support to gen allaga. No way can gen miranda and querubin win that standoff. the majority were just to overwhelming. well the outcome is the best evidence.
