Actually , pilots themselves, teh DND and President herself said that they want a NEW CHOPPER. They did not say they dont want a modern attack model.

I say, If we cant get the AH-1Z then we should get the A-129 MANGUSTA. As I see it, it was based from the Cobra platform.

It's a multi-role chopper so the investment is for the longer-term.

Perfect for countering internal threats and external threats as well sa terrorist attacks.

Yep. And why not all the existing choppers (Hueys, S-76 and the MG520s)? We would not be limiting our night capability to the planned purchase of the 6 NCAH.
