a little trivia : as magsaysay took office, his first act was to fire Aguinaldo. Nobody dared tell Aguinaldo and be responsible if he were to die because of disappointment over his dimissal. As a compromise, Magsaysay let him choose his successor and he chose my lolo. :btt:

I also would like to share several memoirs published shortly after the Phil-american war by pinoy officers. it's complete with rare pics. detailed stories of engagements with the enemy can be found here. can any one tell me how to upload it. it's in PDF format (i scanned it already).
