I was surfing the ABS-CBN News wapsite on my cellphone and I read this news entry that the COMELEC is planning to deputize ROTC cadets in lieu of public school teachers .
Hmmm...isn't this asking too much from the cadets who are nothing more but college students?
and dangerous too, this will surely face objection from the parents...
how about you ROTC cadets in this forum, are you willing ?

Its been done before . . . with the Rainbow Rangers. :thumb:

Its not good anymore, after the Garci incident and the involvement of senior military officers in election fraud, even ROTC cadets someof whom will surely join the AFP should be insulated from politics.
Teachers has been doing it for a long time, ROTC cadets are doing it before. If not them who will?
Party groups? Barangays, the smallest political unit? One-sided NGO's?
