Thanks for sharing ur videos! Nice shots!
That one is funny though. What kind of ROTC was it, a fire team without a sniper, i mean is it possible? Hehehe... A real fire team is consisting of a Rifleman (squad leader), sniper, support, & demolition. :D

Thanks Spearhead! It is a Naval ROTC Unit. Maybe you remember information from another manual (Army perhaps?). Fire Team compositions vary from unit to unit. The movements you've seen executed by those(Midshipman) Petty Officers were from the PMC/PN Training Materials provided by Navrescom reproduced here:
http://www.dlsu.edu.ph/offices/sps/rotc/pd...MT-FMN-TECH.pdfThey were trained and supervised by Philippine Marines (who were all around the demo area). The Marine Instructors were veterans of many battles in Mindanao so I guess the MPOs just had to take their words for it!
You're right though, the video is funny. "Operation Shabu" cracked me up! Sarap pagapangin. Great performance though.

Actually a regular Army infantry fire team doesn't differ from the PMC/PN. The Army infantry fire team is also composed of a rifleman, team leader, grenadier, and automatic weapons man.

If this college students want to be soldiers
they must join the PA. The ROTC must not be part anymore
of university curriculum.
