• Entries for News and Human Interest categories should have been taken during the 2009 Balikatan Exercise only
• Entries for Balikatan History category should have been taken from the start of Balikatan exercises to 2008 only
• Contestants may submit a maximum of 10 entries per category.

Also, Albay Representative Reno G. Lim through Col. Rodolfo Santiago, Executive Agent RP Balikatan ‘09, express his intention to support the upcoming photo contest . Lim pledged P20,000 cash and a plaque as special award for the best photo taken in Bicol Region during the Balikatan ’09.

• All submitted entries shall become the sole and exclusive property of the Organizers and may be reproduced and/or reprinted into any size or format for photo exhibits and any information materials without seeking permission from the owner nor paying compensation for the acquisition of said photos but it will be credited to the photographer and organization they represent after the contest.
• Minor digital enhancement is permitted, but trick shots and images that have significantly modified or appear unnatural will be disqualified.
• Identifying marks like names, address, logo or any sign that will give information about the owner of the entry are prohibited. No watermarks, signature, or copyright notices may be added to images.
• Pictures that have won in any International, PPP, Lente or FOCAP sponsored contest are disqualified.
• The complete name, address, contact numbers, email address and their organization or outfit should be written in a separate white bond paper placed in brown sealed envelope and to be mailed or hand carried to
• Mr. Kiko Calado, Lente Images Philippines, Inc. in cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United States Armed Forces, c/o Mr. John Michael Rico, Public Affairs Office, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. Military photographers should indicate their rank, designation and unit they represent. Deadline of entries is on April 26, 2009.
