Lightning strike causes fire at Army school

Lightning reportedly caused a fire that gutted a three-classroom building of the Philippine Army Military Police School in Fort Boniacio, Taguig City at noon Saturday.

Lt. Col. Romeo Brawner, Jr., Army spokesman, said the lightning struck at 12:15.

He said the firefighters were able to immediately quell the blaze shortly before 1 p.m.

Brawner said no one was hurt. The building had no occupants when the lightning struck.

PA MP personnel are vital for the PA to maintain
all the military bases nationwide.
The MP should be a larger force, there's not even a well organized
command for the MP.
