The National Bureau of Investigation on Friday said it has arrested an agent of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines for allegedly spying outside the Department of Justice building for several days.
The NBI said it arrested confidential agent Kennedy Guerrero, intel agent 1 of ISAFP Mig-24, after he was caught doing surveillance outside the DOJ building.
Guerrero admitted monitoring the DOJ building but only to check on street protesters that usually picket outside the justice department.
The intelligence agent is currently undergoing tactical interrogation at the NBI.

Possibly he was mistaken as a terrorist casing the area. Maybe he was just picked up for questioning. The NBI is under the DOJ and they were concerned for anybody acting suspiciously within their turf.
Most likely the incident would not accentuate a big issue if the ISAPF can prove that the spying was in connection with a mission intended for intelligence purposes to protect the DOJ.

Burned out pa. If indeed the guy was a CA, the NBI should have just coordinated with its counter-part.

what's with ISAFP, are its agents competent?
Tthere was also an incident in Cebu where 2 ISAFP agents were "made out" by thugs in a slum area they were casing and were beaten almost to death if not for the intervention of religious women's group who happened to pass by the incident.

I'll worship the NBI counter-intelligence more if they can bust at least half of the 10,000 Chinese spies in Pilipinas.Terrible, they have infiltrated even the private sector where they can coddle fellow spies and NPAs. Hindi na lang ako kikibo. One Chicom in Vancouver stalked me in my workplace, bribed an IT manager, and devise ways and means to have me fired. He succeeded. "You were the guy who was let go, aren't you? , he asked me. I identified him. Challenged him to fistfight. He ran to the nearest bus and took off. And he's saying 'epigay'. LOL (I don't know that he can be easily tempted to stalk me in my workplace. LOL. He was 'freakin' coughing and coughing when he took off) It is true. I woudn't lie at that or else police will pick me up. I FIRED MYSELF! STUPID -----! DUWAG! YAN ANG DUWAG/ ANG LAKILAKING TAO HINDI MAKAPALAG.
