Guys i just want to know your opinion on the Kriss Super Sub machine gun would the Army Navy Air Force and PNP buy a weapon system like this?

Design

TDI refers to the operating system as the Kriss Super V. The system claims to compensate for recoil by utilizing moving parts that travel down into a recess behind the magazine. This means they travel vertically and forces encountered when they reach the end of their travel act downward, reducing muzzle rise. The barrel is also in-line with the shooter's shoulder as in the M16 rifle and German FG42 but also in line with the shooter's hand. Combined, these factors are advertised to create less felt-recoil and muzzle climb. The Vector has the highest sightline in comparison to the bore axis of any personal firearm. This results in significant vertical stringing with changes in range.

Okay naman siya as saw this sa Future Weapons. But, mas needed ng troops natin ay machineguns o squad weapons. But, I'd rather go for the new Atchisson - not sure if ito yun gamit sa opening sa 24 season 7 though.

OT na ito but what happened to the Ultimax natin? Can't that be improved upon? Kung mabilis ma-corrode can't some plating or coating be done to it? Mas maganda naman yun for CQB operations.

Its possible to use the KRISS for Special Ops operation but however Navy Command has already decided to use the 45cal Grease gun with Scope mounted on it....

Armory shows lots of surplus 45cal Grease gun and now they are reactivating it for use....This will save us lots of money as well.

The KRISS Super V was reviewed thoroughly in my copy of Small Arms Review Feb 09 issue.

If it were up to me why don't we come up with something similar to the KRISS but using the M3 magazines. This way, when things get hot we have something that uses both magazines and ammo.

Yun system ng KRISS is nothing new. They just employed something that is there to something that has yet to be made. I'd rather stick to upgrading our Ultimax 100s then kabitan ng short barrel na may suppressor. Better firepower and ammo.

Is the KRISS tested ba for the ammo for the HK SOCOM or just plain .45 ammo? Kung plain .45 lang siya stick to the M3 na lang tayo.

we should invest in building a small arms industries for our troops, this weapon system will give them an advantage against the rebels and terrorist group my concert is that some bad beans will use this to make a illegal business opportunity to make money

I would prefer the Heckler and Koch MP7 than the KRISS

The Singaporeans have developed a weapon with similar ammo to the MP7. And we don't really need something like the MP7 yet as who will that be used to protect? More useless VIPs? To hell with them. We can replace those a dime a dozen especially if they're the garden variety that pest our halls in congress, malacanang and the justice.

What we need more is something that our men in the field can take advantage of. Although I don't subscribe to getting the KRISS but if it can be made to answer a serious need then we should do so ASAP. I for one would vote for it if it can be made in a suppressed version to the likes of the MP5SD series so that it can replace all our 9mm suppressed assets - although I'd still pick the suppressed Ultimax for such a role as it has more serious firepower and range if given the option.

We get something like the MP7 when we have answered the basic needs of our troopers.
