The two both suffered broken legs when they fell from a rope hanging from a helicopter onto the deck of a training ship about five meters below. In the drill, based on the scenario of a private ship being attacked by pirates, the Filipino personnel were supposed to land on the training ship from the helicopter, but the rope was short of the deck, according to the Japan Coast Guard. The patrol vessel Mizuho, which belongs to the 4th Regional Japan Coast Headquarters based in Nagoya, was taking part in the drill. The Mizuho left Nagoya port July 1 for joint drills with the Philippines and Indonesia. It will take part in a drill with Indonesia to deal with an oil spill beginning July 14 as scheduled before returning to Japan on July 24. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9...&show_article=1 |
