It's now confirmed that Reservists will be joining our troops as Peacekeepers at the Golan Heights. It was announced by the DND Sec, Hon Gilberto C Teodoro during the 30th AFP National Reservist's Week celebration held last 19th Sep 209 at the AFPCOC, GHQ at Camp Aguinaldo. MGen Bautista, DCS for Reservists Affairs J-9, announced that seven (7) will be coming from the ARESCOM, two (2) from the NAVRESCOM, two (2) from the PAFRESCOM and one (1) from the AFPRESCOM Technical Service. Of the 2 from the PAFRescom, one was a female Reservists from the RRATSW who was presented by the ARCOM, BGen Camagay. They are scheduled to be deployed this October.
