It's great to see battery technology improving, especially by the use of nuclear powered radioisotope/semiconductor batteries which will prove to be the future of long battery life devices. Imagine not having to worry about trying to find a place to charge your phone.
And of course something like this was posted here because of its obvious future military applications.
Nuclear batteries are an attractive proposition for many applications because the isotopes that power them can provide a useful amount of current for phenomenally long times - up to hundreds of years or more.
