Ya your pretty much expose on that vehicle we need more of a box type full armored vehicle without the heavy weight of a tank just a bit right for protection about 4 to 7 tons will do since our conditions demands it just my opinion on the matter

Is it a good idea kung magkaroon ang Philippine Army ng Jackal MWMIK?
Kudos, Cheers and Peace Out ...

A program to watch is the British Army's LPPV (light protected patrol vehicle) which requires a 7-ton vehicle with a 2-ton payload. It's not a big as the monster trucks from the US MRAP program since the LPPV is meant to replace Snatch Land Rovers (which, like humvees, are still widely used but vulnerable to IEDs).
One of the LPPV contenders, for example, is by Force Protection (maker of Cougar MRAPs) and called the Ocelot. It can carry a driver + 5 passengers (1 in front, 4 in cabin); it could probably carry a turret if required (but with fewer passengers). Note the v-hull.
The Ocelot LPPV is definitely taller than the Snatch Land Rover but doesn't seem much bigger. Graphic of interior:

If the AFP's ever looking for a light mine-resistant vehicle and find MRAPs too big and heavy, the LPPV could be something to consider.
