Nice siya nga. But I like the mini version even better. Yun nga lang yun ina-assemble malapit sa amin di pa rin tapos. Mukhang kinapos sa budget. Note too that meron tayong mga custom makers ng sasakyan. Besides the blackballed Rolls Royce and Bently clones na na-feature raw sa PAL inflight mag, meron din pwede ka magpagawa ng customized pickup o kotse. And depende pa sa budget mo. Yun nga lang yun maker na alam ko moved abroad kahit maganda ang kita niya dito. Mas malaki kasi opportunity and support ng government daw.

Command is about authority, about appointment to a position. Effective leadership is different. It must be learned and practiced in order for it to rise to the level of art. You must love those you lead before you can be an effective leader. You can certainly command without that sense of commitment but you cannot lead without it; and without leadership, command is a hollow experience. .. a vacuum often filled with mistrust and ignorance.

comrade ctrlaltdel, i think jeepney and AUV builders such as those in San Pablo City, Laguna also build Hummers. i just do not have the idea about the quality of those vehicles and whether or not you can install provisions for airconditioning and other accessories on them. PAwink.gif

It was once featured in the newspapers and the assembler is AMC (Aldana Motors Corporation). They were offering it to the PNP and AFP. Sells for about 800K. Engine came from Nissan Safaris. Used to see them along Buendia near LRT Taft early morning and late at night from the white wagon version to the red, black and yellow pick-ups. The small versions body cost about P85,000 up in Cavite. You could see lots of them along the Aguinaldo highway. I also remember seeing one in the news in one of the MILF camps during Erap's time.

Copying the exact features might get some flaks from the original builders. better make some renovations just like what the Chinese, Russians and other countries are doing.

these AMC Hammers are built in Lucena City...that's what I can remember while talking to Mr. Alana (not aldana as earlier mentioned). Actually they are offering it to the Philippine Army, Marines and National Police. There are numerous versions, with MT or AT options. Yes, the engines are from Nissan Safari.

What came out of Mr. Alana's marketing, did the PMC, Army or PNP bite?

According to phichanad, the PNP SAF bought some?

QUOTE

They also have Cadillac Gage V-150 Commandos, Mitsubishi Armored vehicles like the ones used by banks, AMGeneral Humvees, Alana Motors Hammers, Ford F-150 with M-60 machine gun of the cab, Land Rovers with Machine Guns (which 1 unit is assigned at the US embassy), and 6x6 trucks just like what the army uses. and for other uses, they also have Nissan Frontiers, Isuzu pick-up troop carriers, Toyota Revos and Mitsubishi L300. And correct me if im wrong, the SAF will also receive new helicopters and aircrafts (maybe from Poland), as the PNP Air Unit will be integrated to the SAF, including the present PNP air assets.

Why make these jeeps if the AMC Hummer can do the job and outperform the jeep.
